Hear It From Me
I used to believe that being a single mother was something to be ashamed of, but now I see it from another perspective. Having lived through many years of setbacks, disappointments, and heartbreaks, I have come to realize that my struggles were a gift. If my life had been perfect, I would not have had the opportunity to show my children that you can still thrive in adversity. In my setbacks, they have learned about resilience and that obstacles don't mean giving up. In my disappointments, they have learned about having a positive attitude and knowing that sadness is temporary. In my heartbreaks, they have learned about strength and that one chapter's ending doesn't mean the end of the story.
It is my hope this blog will serve as a handbook for single mothers who share the will to move forward with determination, joy, and gratitude.
